Sweet Stella Deserves To Be Saved

Stella is a sweet Beagle mix from southern Virginia who should be chasing butterflies and curling up beside someone who loves her, not sitting alone in a cold kennel. Found wandering as a stray, one year old Stella faced the terrifying reality so many dogs endure. Lonely days, dangerous nights, and the constant fear of hunger, injury, or worse, with no one to protect her. Now Stella waits in a rural shelter where resources are stretched thin and time is not guaranteed. She doesn’t understand why no one has come for her, or why the world feels so scary and so lonely. Homeward Trails wants to give Stella a second chance to show her safety, warmth, and love, but they can’t do it without help. Donations and sponsors are the only way to bring her out of that lonely place and into a life she deserves. Without that support, Stella remains just another forgotten dog, hoping each day won’t be her last.
