The Agape Wigwam is a testament to the power of God working through determined volunteers! Construction is almost complete only 5 months after we first began excavation! The Agape Wigwam began as an idea within the Superiorland Emmaus community and it grew into a joint project between Camp Michigamme and Emmaus to see this dream into a reality. The Agape Wigwam meets an immediate need for centralized multi-purpose indoor space that will be used for arts and crafts, small groups, rainy day activities, and more! The Agape Wigwam was built with the future in mind as well as it provides easy access from Grace Hall for mobility challenged folks to additional meeting and creating space. Superiorland Emmaus is excited to use it as their conference room during their fall walks and the Men’s walk this year was able to break it in! The acoustics are phenomenal and there will be much rejoicing because of that.
We have raised over $115,000 toward the building costs and have $45,000 to go before we have paid all of our construction costs. We have received many generous donations from across the Northern Skies District, churches, individuals and the Superiorland Emmaus community. Help us reach our goal of paying off all construction costs before 2019 ends! Click below to help support the Agape Wigwam!
