Community Ministries Program @ Trinity UMC

The Community Ministries Program at Trinity United Methodist Church exist to support children and families through our connection with local elementary schools and the surrounding community. We create opportunities to support individuals/families in our communities, provide after-school programming, form collaborations with local non profit organizations  and build partnerships that help better serve our neighbors. We also work closely with the special needs community by creating opportunities to volunteer, providing space for programming and advocating for families in our community.

A few areas that we focus on are:

• Community Building
• After-School Programming (Wednesdays, 2nd-8th Grade)
• Educational Opportunities in Local Elementary Schools
• Teacher Supply and Cold Weather Apparel Collection Drives
• Community Mental Health First Aid Trainings
• Special Needs Community Advocacy and Support
• Multi-Church Collection Drives for groups working with LGBTQIA+ Individuals
